The sexy song of the week has NOTHING to do with the new release I have - except that they are both sexy hahaha, but I am very busy babysitting today so this was the first song I thought of to share. The sexy new release is Penance: Confessions, Vol. 4 of the Penance Through Submission series. If you've been rollin through my blog before you'll know the basics - cheating wife, offered the choice of penance or divorce.
This piece leans toward the story more then the graphic sex of the others. Oh don't worry, there is definite sex, (hehe) but there are also a lot of moments where we see how the relationship between Mere and Charlie has grown and matured. Anyways! Happy

My apologies for the slowness of my posts - we just found out that my husband's parents are moving a few states away within the next few months, so as often happens when uprooting all the stuff that's been collected for years is getting thinned and prepared for sale and that falls on this author's shoulders.
I was sent a very interesting article about some Smashword statistics that Mark Coker released and I thought it would be a good thing to pass along to my readers. The statistics are perhaps the first real ebook sales statistics I've seen released and its great for coming up with your price. Anyways - I'll leave you with that short and sweet little plug and get back to the ever growing list After months of having Too Deep on my "coming soon" list, I'm happy to announce it is actually here! The original piece I wasn't happy with, and when my editor got hold of it she wasn't either. The flow was off, and I think it was because I was rushing Micah and Allyson too much, crowding in too many plot twists and not giving them time to grow. This was an intense piece to write, a lot of deep emotion that had nothing to do with horniness. :D If you read Deeper than the story left off with Allyson's father threatening to arrest Micah. Too Deep deals a lot with this and takes Micah and Lyssie's relationship in new directions. When I finished it originally I was so discouraged. The story was "done" but I didn't want it to be, it was so fast and full it didn't work. They are such strong characters they need more time to play with each other! So I rewrote it and I hope that you all enjoy it now as much as I do. PS. Yes this song's melancholy feel fits in beautifully with this story. I chose it because there are a lot of similarities, the sense of waiting and aching for someone. Book number 42 is out on Amazon and Barnes and Noble, Penance: Humiliation, Vol. 3 of Penance Through Submission.
If you are a long time blog reader of mine you may have seen my interview with Charlie and Meredith during a blog hop in July of last year, and if you're a fan of some of my books then you possibly have looked at the Penance Series in the past. It is one of my favorite series, listed as Number 3 on my personal most romantic favorites, and given 5 stars by Amazon reader, "tasty cakes". Some fun tidbits about this series: 1) This series started with the "bathtub" scene in the first book. I am a big fan of baths, and find them incredibly sexy, and loved the idea of using it as a punishment or a sort or torment. I have envisioned it for years with many different characters but knew that they must be strong enough for the scene to play out the way I wanted. 2) Charlie is my oldest erotic hero. He was inspired by a sexy man I bumped into in the grocery store. With his gorgeous voice, fantastic smell, and broad shoulders I knew he had to be a hero somewhere. 3) I decided to step away from the "barely-legal" characters because I hit my first "milestone birthday." I wanted to bring to life characters strong enough to deal with the more "adult themes" then cheerleaders and babysitters. (Though they're still some of my faves hehe.) 4) The Penance Series is currently planned for 5 books - book 4, Penance: Confessions should be out soon (Possibly by this weekend.) 5) During Penance: Pain my lover and I went to an Adult store and purchased a flail so I could experience the pain I wanted Meredith to endure. This morning I was inspired to tackle a huge undertaking.
I want to compile a "love can heal abuse" book (whether drugs, alcohol or domestic) with a lot of different indie authors. I'm hugely intimidated by this, but feel very strongly about it. All proceeds of the book would then be donated. I am hoping for about 25 - 50 authors to donate a short erotic or romantic story of under 10,000 words (complete and edited, not part of a bigger story please). There will be no moneys for the authors. It will ALL be donated to charities dealing with abuse. If you are interested please email [email protected] If you are not a writer but would still like to contribute, whether through art, reviews, advertising, etc. Please email me as well at [email protected] These are my initial posts but my goal is to have it compiled, cleaned up and ready for publishing in October of 2013. Thank you so much for sharing this post and considering! Kisses, Lesa I am working on the "final" installment of my Erotic Fantasy Series, The Binding and Bound to Him, and frankly its kicking my butt. The scene that is holding me back is heartbreaking - these are two of my favorite characters I don't want to do what the story is indicating I should. I've been thinking about it a lot, since June actually when I finished Bound to Him and realized where the story was going. The good news is that I am the writer - the bad news is the story has to be strong, and sometimes the hard scene is the best and most memorable scene. When Rose loses Jack, when Atreyu loses Artax, when Edward loses Bella.. Sure sometimes these scenes are "undone" later (Bella becomes a vampire, and Bastian restores the world). But these scenes bring a level of gravity to the piece, bringing that melancholy realness to it. It connects to our hearts because we've felt the pain of losing someone, of losing a favorite animal, the breaking of our heart. When I was in school my professor once spoke on hard scenes, (I'm paraphrasing it was YEARS ago - but it really struck me.) "Every author can reference something, skip over that hard scene and only catch glimpses that fill us as readers in, but the truly great ones will take us right through that knit and grit, will make our hearts break and those tears flow." So I challenge you (and accept the challenge myself) to write that scene that is heart breaking, To kick off the season of sexy romance (Valentine's day is coming!!) I've decided to post up my most "romantic books" not just raunchy delightful sex (which of course I offer too, what erotic author wouldn't?) I've even gone to the lengths of attempting to put a set of order to them. So if you're lookin' for a hot V-day gift for you or your Significant other, consider these! Here goes. Coming in at Number 6: Despite this sexy little story being a sweet release quickie and only $0.99, I felt that it was a definite contender to my most romantic pieces. Why? The relationship between Bobby and Genevieve transcends even death, and they get only one night of true passion. Bittersweet and steamy its my favorite short - short. (What can I say I'm a sucker for romance.) Number 5: My take on the damsel in distress story, Julite and Alain are challenged by being placed in an arranged marriage, and both of them have a past that haunts them and is driving them apart. These two characters must learn to trust each other in order to come together as one, and the chemistry between them while seemingly slow to spark burn into a roaring bonfire. The passion of the love-making was integral to their healing. One of my favorite scenes is when the climatic moment when she kisses him, only to have him kiss her back. That moment overwhelms and panics her, and is a turning point to the story. Number 4: This story stars Princess Jesmaine, an Irish princess destined to marry Conchobor, the son of her father's best friend. The problems arise when Conchobor is realized to be as wicked as the man her father usurped. Jesmaine meets a man named Trian, a simple warrior with a heart of good. Despite propriety Jesmaine is continually thrust into Trian (pun so intended! haha) and catches glimpses of him naked. She is continually pulled to Trian and risks it all to be with him only to discover that was her destiny and it was her decision in the beginning. My favorite scene in this short story is probably Jesmaine bumping into Trian while he's bathing. So drawn to him like a moth to the proverbial candle, this is the moment where she starts realizing she wishes Conchobor was Trian. Number 3: Charlie and Meredith have to take third for me. With a wild tryst Meredith cheated on Charlie, only to realize how much she'd crushed him. Charlie offers her the opportunity to pay penance, to submit completely to his will. This series is about rebuilding - sure there is a LOT of "kinky fuckery" restraints, seclusion, pain, humiliation. But their romance love challenges each other and they discover they'll do anything for love. There are so many scenes in this series that I love, but I think that the moment in Penance: Pain needs a mention. Meredith has been caught masturbating without Charlie's permission, and is about to be punished for it, as she's kneeling beside him she notices that he's got a raging hard on. It's a moment when they both realize that they're testing each other and loving it. NUMBER 1 and 2: This was the hardest decision of all and in all honesty if you ask me in twenty minutes it might change. My top two are so interchangeable. The Deep: Rape Fantasy Series, and The Binding: Erotic Fantasy Series are my two of my favorite erotica and that is hugely based on their romance. Allyson Jennings and Micah Noble versus Bridget Montgomery and Isaac Mason. Two entirely too sexy pairs. Allyson is a sweet and seemingly innocent kindergarten teacher, but with a huge kinky streak. Micah fulfills her darkest wishes. Their relationship has grown and blossomed so much that I have at least two more books in the works because frankly I love writing them too much to give them up! Sure they enjoy the darker side of sex, but their held together with such a bright love that the balance makes them intriguing characters in a whole series of different moments. Bridget is also a teacher - a college professor. She's very level headed and straight forward, and until faced with a werewolf she'd never consider supernatural to be real. She's drawn to Isaac's home by a mystical force, and they share a wild passion that forever binds them together. Some people have expressed that they're turned off by the "half-wolf sex" in the first book, but frankly I felt it was necessary and romantic - she accepted him in every form of his being. I have at least one more piece in the works for Brit and Isaac, but again, I enjoy them both so much as characters that I don't know if I'll be able to give them up after this one. Finding specific moments in these two books that are my "favorite" is completely impossible. I love them both through and through. Their passion, their sacrifice, their eternity makes these my two favorite romances. So there you have it - my top 6 romantic books according to me the author haha. And because its Friday and I don't want to leave you without a sexy song of the week here's a sweet and romantic one you probably have heard before. Love you for a thousand years! Kisses, Lesa |
