Here goes.
Coming in at Number 6:
Number 5:
These two characters must learn to trust each other in order to come together as one, and the chemistry between them while seemingly slow to spark burn into a roaring bonfire. The passion of the love-making was integral to their healing.
One of my favorite scenes is when the climatic moment when she kisses him, only to have him kiss her back. That moment overwhelms and panics her, and is a turning point to the story.
Number 4:
Despite propriety Jesmaine is continually thrust into Trian (pun so intended! haha) and catches glimpses of him naked. She is continually pulled to Trian and risks it all to be with him only to discover that was her destiny and it was her decision in the beginning.
My favorite scene in this short story is probably Jesmaine bumping into Trian while he's bathing. So drawn to him like a moth to the proverbial candle, this is the moment where she starts realizing she wishes Conchobor was Trian.
Number 3:
This series is about rebuilding - sure there is a LOT of "kinky fuckery" restraints, seclusion, pain, humiliation. But their romance love challenges each other and they discover they'll do anything for love.
There are so many scenes in this series that I love, but I think that the moment in Penance: Pain needs a mention. Meredith has been caught masturbating without Charlie's permission, and is about to be punished for it, as she's kneeling beside him she notices that he's got a raging hard on. It's a moment when they both realize that they're testing each other and loving it.
NUMBER 1 and 2:
Allyson Jennings and Micah Noble versus Bridget Montgomery and Isaac Mason. Two entirely too sexy pairs.
Allyson is a sweet and seemingly innocent kindergarten teacher, but with a huge kinky streak. Micah fulfills her darkest wishes. Their relationship has grown and blossomed so much that I have at least two more books in the works because frankly I love writing them too much to give them up! Sure they enjoy the darker side of sex, but their held together with such a bright love that the balance makes them intriguing characters in a whole series of different moments.
Bridget is also a teacher - a college professor. She's very level headed and straight forward, and until faced with a werewolf she'd never consider supernatural to be real. She's drawn to Isaac's home by a mystical force, and they share a wild passion that forever binds them together. Some people have expressed that they're turned off by the "half-wolf sex" in the first book, but frankly I felt it was necessary and romantic - she accepted him in every form of his being. I have at least one more piece in the works for Brit and Isaac, but again, I enjoy them both so much as characters that I don't know if I'll be able to give them up after this one.
Finding specific moments in these two books that are my "favorite" is completely impossible. I love them both through and through. Their passion, their sacrifice, their eternity makes these my two favorite romances.
And because its Friday and I don't want to leave you without a sexy song of the week here's a sweet and romantic one you probably have heard before.
Love you for a thousand years!
Kisses,
Lesa
